The question posed is do social bookmark tabs within posts actually help with building traffic. In today’s Web 2.0 environment it seems that social bookmarking has become a mainstay in yet another dimension to the communication of Internet information both personal and commercial. As with any transmission of information the result is an increase in viewers and traffic.
Personally I think it’s a great idea and I think that it’s going to get even bigger than it is now. Along with this come new products such as BookMarking Demon, Social Networking On Squidoo and Social Media Profit Coach. Although you can get started by simply joining as many bookmarking sites as possible. The list is growing constantly however it may be helpful to get a leg up by reading up on this phenomenon.
If there is one thing that I like to tell colleagues is that the Internet is always evolving and changing so you must stay abreast with new technologies and trends. Social Bookmarking is an example of a trend that has evolved from a personal tool to a personal and commercial tool. That’s the great part of the Internet, you never know what’s going to happen next but you can be assured that someone will utilize it somehow to make money.
What’s your opinion?
Choosing the right web host is as important, these days, as choosing the right marketing program for your product. Most people really don’t consider web hosting to be that important. After all it’s just a place to house a bunch of HTML files, right?, Wrong. Choosing the right web host can be pivotal to your success. Why? Even if you only require a one sales page you still need the inner workings of a top host supporting you. You may be required to run specific scripts that require a MySQL database. You might need to have the ability to mange several add-on domains, and without question you will need to support multiple email addresses to mange the specific areas of your business. Additionally you most certainly need to at a minimum run video, if not store it on your server which means that you should have suitable bandwidth and disk space.
You also need to consider how you manage add-ons such as blogs, content management, customer service inquiries general information about your product or service. If you are a one or two person office this becomes critical. Most good hosting services are operated under either Windows or Linux O/S and should come with a c-panel to mange all the various components of your site. In addition to this they should also have Fantastico which is a component paradise allowing you to easily install Word Press blogs, Joomla content management sites and much more.
Be sure to do your homework and then check RandaTec Hosting for pricing and specifics.
This is a question for the ages. The short answer is categorically yes. The long answer may not what you want to hear however it’s as close to the truth as you can get.
Since Google AdSense appeared on the scene there have been thousands of programs and comments claiming to have the inside track to making a fortune with it. Much of this was a lot of hot air and marketing hype. There are many (I’m not enitrely sure what the exact number of “many is) that are making a very good living with AdSense. I would put this in the $300 to $500 range per day. Doing the match that’s $9,000 to $15,000 per day. There are some accounts of close to $1,000,000 per year. I do not know them personally but have heard through fairly good sources that they actually exist. These are individuals that are using exclusivly “white hat” tactics to making this revenue. That means they are not employing anything that would get them banned from Google Adsense. This also means that they may or not be using Google AdWords or other types of PPC traffic to get these results. It’s hard to say because anyone who is actually making this kind of money from Adsense revenue is not going to tell you how they do it. I don’t care what anyone tells you, you will never find out the real truth of how it’s done.
That being said, how does one make money with Adsense? The average is about $2.00 per day. That’s not $200, I mean $2.00! or about $60 per day per website. There have been a lot of marketers willing to sell you their problems for “rapid AdSense Site Development” These are great sites but there’s one big problem, it’s called traffic. You could have 200 webistes that are all AdSense monetized that make you $0 per day because no one ever sees them. So the lesson here is get traffic. Easier said than done.
It’s rare, but not impossible, to make several hundred dollars from one or two websites. This can be done by targeted adsense segmentation. This is the process of finding specific keywords that have high payouts, linked to a high traffic site. Keyword lists that are sorted by payout can be easily found by doing a basic search on Google. We have more information on that topic at Home Business Research.
It is feasible to build many sites and feed them traffic to get your adsense revenue up however there are some additional ways to do it, provided that you have the capital to do it, by using PPC advertising like AdWords. Straight Adsense arbitrage is the process of buying relavant Adwords ads for you site and selling Adsense on the same site and profiting by the net of the cost of ads to the revenue from Adsense. Aside from the cost implications, which can be quite high, it doesn’t make sense. The only time that it does make sense is if the Adsense Ad revenue is in addition to a product or service you are buying the Adwords ad units for. To further illustrate:
Let’s say that my website sells custom golf clubs. I create a website around this product and sandwiched between content about my clubs I have placed Adsense ads, any traffic that I send to the site vis a vis Adwords is primarily to sell my custom clubs, however I may not always get the sale and someone may see an Adsense ad that captures their curiosity and clicks on it , the resulting revenue from Adsense is perfectly acceptable.
Another method is the Adsense optimized website. It’s perfectly legitimate to create these however don’t count on any serious organic search traffic because the search engines can spot these a mile away. Why? The answer is simple, content, or the lack thereof any relevant content. You can create informational websites, but be sure to make them unique and be sure that the content has something to say other than the obvious.
This post is way too long. What’s your take on Google Adsense?
